Core Commitment: Your document data (including PDF files, scanned images, etc.) is stored by default on your device. We do not collect or upload this data to our servers unless you explicitly authorize a specific action (such as using iCloud sync).
1. Information We Collect
The information we collect is limited to what is necessary to provide the core functionalities of the App and primarily includes:
- Information and Files You Actively Provide:
- Document Data: When you use the App to create, edit, merge, split PDFs, or scan documents, these files temporarily reside in your device's memory during processing. Once processing is complete, the files are saved by default in your device's local storage. We do not remotely access or collect these files.
- iCloud Data: If you enable iCloud Drive on your device and choose to sync files to iCloud according to your system settings, your files will be subject to the Apple iCloud Privacy Policy and terms. We cannot access files synced via iCloud on your other devices.
- Automatically Collected Non-Personal Information:
- Usage Data Analytics: To help us improve the App's performance and stability, we may collect anonymous, non-personally identifiable usage data through services such as [Apple Analytics or other analytics tools]. 3. Data Storage and Retention
- Local Storage: All your document data is stored securely by default on your iOS device. You can manage or delete these files at any time within the "Files" section of the App.
- iCloud Storage: If you choose to use iCloud sync, your files will be stored on Apple's servers. You can manage this data in your device's iCloud settings.
- Data Retention: Files are retained as long as they exist on your device or your chosen synced cloud service. When you delete files from your device or iCloud, the corresponding data is erased.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personally identifiable information or document content to any third parties.
5. Your Rights
Depending on the laws of your region, you may have the following rights:
- Access and Correction: You can access and manage all files you create within the App at any time.
- Deletion: You can delete any of your files directly within the App or through your device's file management system.
- Withdraw Consent: You can withdraw consent for the sync function by disabling the App's iCloud permissions (in iOS "Settings" > "[Your Name]" > "iCloud" > "Manage Storage").
6. Children's Privacy
This App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us, and we will delete it.
